You may have seen him during your marine trips in Qatar, especially in the Ras Laffan area, from which he got his name.

Safia is a symbol of agility and endurance. Her marine navigation skills that allow her to travel thousands of kilometers. However, the pure waters of Qatar remain her favorite place, especially on the shores of Fuwayrit and near the ancient village of Safia, from which she got her name.

Barga is often referred to as “the sea cow”. Despite her large size, she swims calmly and gracefully, making her beloved by sea enthusiasts, especially photographers who enjoy capturing her image in the Ras Brouq area of Qatar, from which she got her name.

Rahhal's body is perfectly designed not just for fast movement, but also for successful camouflage even in the clear waters of Qatar. His tail is a defense tool and a propulsion fan. He uses to roam the waters of Dohat bin Rahal, from which he got his name.
